The Cashback Conundrum
I noticed Krak just announced a 1% cashback for getting your salary paid directly into Krak. Interesting move — clearly going after Strike and Bill Pay.
However, the current functionality has a hurdle: I can't pay my regular bills directly from Krak yet. To get the 1% cashback, I'd have to deposit my salary into Krak, then withdraw it back to my main bank account to cover standing orders. The extra step makes the 1% questionable in value right now.
But I love seeing this innovation! Once Krak (or similar) integrates bill payment, these cashback incentives will be a real game-changer.
